Sebastian Vettel proved at the end of 2010 that he had come of age as a Formula 1 driver, bouncing back from costly mistakes earlier in the season to grab his maiden world championship with a dominant and error-free drive in Abu Dhabi. That success has generated the confidence to make him psychologically much stronger, and he is clear favourite to retain his crown this year since Adrian Newey seems to have delivered yet another ultra-competitive car. Vettel's speed has never been in question, but now he has maturity to boot. He is the man that all his rivals fear in 2011.
