Toro Rosso-Ferrari

Toro Rosso is entering its second season as a standalone constructor after beginning life as a Red Bull B-team. Its 2010 car was very much RBR-derived, but while the STR6 still contains plenty of the old DNA, it also offers hints of a design squad becoming more comfortable with its tools, and a team developing its own identity. Ambitions will be restricted to a respectable presence in the midfield and testing suggests the car is capable of scoring regular points. But the real intrigue this season will be centred around the drivers, with rapid tester Daniel Ricciardo breathing down the necks of Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari.
